Daisy was born in Gibraltar, but raised in the Cayman Islands. Daisy is still pretty new to radio. She always had a love for art and music throughout school at Catholic. She had the opportunity to direct plays and choirs throughout high school developing a stronger awareness of performance. When she went to Bucks University in England for her Bachelors in Performing, Film and TV, she surrounded herself with creative people who introduced her to the idea of working for Brent Community Radio in Neasden in London. So, alongside her course, she started recruiting new unsigned artists and that is where her love for the media developed.
Talking to influential people in the streets of London, looking for creative souls to showcase on radio and meeting talented musicians became her favorite thing to do. Moving back to the Cayman Islands she knew she couldn’t just leave it all behind so she started working for Hurley’s Media in June 2015.
In her spare time she continues to write and sing music and at various shows and open mic nights on the rock. She also loves tricking with “Tide Tricking” which is a new form of martial arts that involves tumbling and breakdancing/capoeira. Otherwise she tries to get out on the water as much as possible, diving and snorkeling or fishing; not at the same time though… although you never know! You know what they say, common sense is not so common.
